Job description

Baker Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a valued client based in Leeds, who is experiencing continued growth & expansion, to join their busy team.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with sub-contract enquiries at tender stage.
2. Agree scope of works and fees with subcontractors for packages.
3. Review Sub-Contractor quotes, complete comparisons, and raise orders.
4. Assist the Commercial Manager in updating weekly sign-off sheets for the Board of Directors.
5. Liaise with Senior Stakeholders on site procurement and projects.
6. Provide monthly forecast costs.
7. Support other departments as required.
8. Provide support and cover to the Commercial Manager.
9. Attend Pre-Construction meetings with internal and external partners.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven experience in a Subcontract Buying role.
• Essential construction knowledge.
• Understanding and promoting the company’s purpose, vision, and values.
• Sage knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant business degree or equivalent experience.
• Self-starter with a can-do attitude and willingness to embrace new challenges.
