Job summary

Renaissance Care (Scotland) is looking for an Assistant Chef to join the Croftbank, Rosepark & Whitecraigs care homes. You will work with the Head Chef to prepare nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.

You’ll help deliver a hospitality-style dining experience, follow COSHH and HACCP hygiene standards, and engage with residents to create seasonal menus. A competitive rate of pay and a range of staff benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, cooking and service of meals during each dining service.
• Check and maintain kitchen equipment and report damages.
• Work with Head Chef to follow COSHH and HACCP to maintain hygiene and infection control.
• Engage with residents to tailor seasonal menus and foster meaningful dining experiences.
