Job summary

Codi Group in Wales is seeking an Assistant Chef for the new Dan Y Mynydd Extra Care scheme in Porth. This part-time role supports a catering team to prepare nutritious meals for tenants, with shift patterns finishing by 3pm on most days and alternate weekends.

You'll contribute to a community-focused kitchen and help design menus that meet residents’ dietary needs. You’ll work in a vibrant kitchen, ensuring high hygiene standards, sourcing fresh ingredients, and collaborating with the service

Qualifications

• Great communicator with tenants and colleagues
• Experience in a professional fresh-food kitchen
• Ability to plan menus, manage stock, HACCP records, and food safety

Responsibilities

• Create delicious, nutritious meals for tenants daily
• Source fresh ingredients and ensure health & safety standards
• Design menus accommodating cultural and dietary needs
• Assist with menu planning, stock control, HACCP records and budgeting
