Job summary

Aria Court Care Home in March, Cambridgeshire, is seeking an Assistant Chef to support the kitchen team in delivering a high-quality residential dining experience. Reporting to the Head Chef, the role involves preparing meals, ensuring nutritional content, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

The position offers a 40-hour weekly rota, with a salary of £13.70 per hour, and includes a comprehensive induction, holiday entitlement, and staff perks through Athena Care Homes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience working within a kitchen environment.
• Exposure to working within a care environment is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing a high-quality dining experience by promoting choice and dignity to the residents of the home with the services we provide.
• Liaise with residents to ensure they are happy with the food and beverages being delivered within the home.
• Ensure the nutritional content of the meals provided cater for the dietary needs of all residents.
• Assist the Head Chef with all regulatory and statutory requirements are met and company policies and procedures are adhered to.
