Fairmont St Andrews are looking for an Assistant Bars Manager to join our busy and vibrant team.

Reporting to the Bar Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Responsibilities include consistently offering professional, engaging and friendly service, taking sole responsibility for the outlet during shifts, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, and promoting products to our guests in line with the Fairmont brand.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service.
• Take sole responsibility for the outlet during the shift, allocating duties and monitoring smooth running.
• Maintain a safe, secure and hygienic environment for customers, staff and visitors.
• Promote products to guests relating to the hotel and the Fairmont brand.
• Ensure cash, payments, billing and gratuities follow Beverage Department procedures.
• Develop and deliver training to the team through innovative sessions.

Job Description

Fairmont St Andrews are looking for an Assistant Bars Manager to join our busy and vibrant team!

Reporting to the Bar Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
• To take sole responsibility for the outlet during the shift, allocating team members their duties and monitoring the smooth running of the outlet.
• A safe, secure and hygienic environment for customers, staff and visitors to be maintained.
• Opportunities to be taken to promote products to our customers relating to our hotel and the Fairmont brand.
• All cash, payments, billing and gratuities to be dealt with in line with Beverage Department procedures.
• Responsible for training and developing the team through innovative and creative training sessions.
• To develop an annual training calendar, anticipating the needs of each individual and to document such training in a professional manner.
• To assist the Executive Chef and Bar Manager in developing and implementing new food strategies for the department.
• To cover the Bar Manager in their absence
