Job summary

Verdant Parks is seeking an Assistant Bar and Restaurant Manager at Pease Bay Holiday Park, Cockburnspath, to lead daily food and drink operations and support the Bar & Restaurant Manager with the team.

You will recruit and train staff, oversee front of house, monitor service quality, manage rota and stock, ensure health and safety, and help promote the venue across social channels to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in recruiting and training the bar and waiting on teams.
• Oversee the front of house operations when the Bar & Restaurant Manager is absent.
• Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained – complete spot checks with customers.
• Being knowledgeable about our product range.
• Help the Bar & Restaurant Manager organise the staff rota ensuring adequate resources.
• Assist with ongoing stock management, minimising waste, maintaining GP1s.
• Careful management and implementation of all Health & Safety and legislative requirements.
• Ensure that the bar is well stocked at all times.
• Assist in the promotion of the venue via our Social Media channels and marketing team.
• Ensure that our Health & Safety obligations are adhered to at all times.
