Job summary

Verdant Leisure Limited is seeking an Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager to lead busy hospitality operations across our holiday park venues. You will recruit, train and supervise front-of-house teams, ensuring high standards of service, stock control and safe operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, rostering, cost awareness and an ability to motivate a large team in a fast-paced environment. On-site, permanent contract with 40 hours per week and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising bar and restaurant teams.
• Proven ability to lead shifts and manage staff rosters.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Experience reducing waste and increasing sales.
• Personal license is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and training bar and waiting on teams.
• Oversee the front of house operations when the Bar & Restaurant Manager is absent.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through spot checks with customers.
• Be knowledgeable about our product range.
• Organise staff rota ensuring adequate resources at all times.
• Assist with stock management and minimise waste.
