Job summary

The Bulls Head East Leake, part of Chilled Pubs, is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to lead a lively bar team and deliver outstanding guest experiences. You’ll manage stock, coordinate shift briefings, and contribute to creating an inviting atmosphere across the main and cocktail bars.

Ideal candidates will bring hospitality leadership experience, a passion for team development, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality management experience is essential.
• Able to lead a diverse bar team and deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and inspire your bar team.
• Work collaboratively with the Bar Manager on team briefings, 1:1s, and performance development
• Take ownership of stock management, including accurate ordering, cost control, and maintaining an excellent cellar
• Create the perfect atmosphere – think lighting, music, and great service!
• Work across the main bar and cocktail bar to deliver smooth, top-quality service
• Recommend products with confidence and engage with guests
