Key responsibilities of your role as Assistant Bar Manager:

• Supervise the daily operations of the bar and oversee the duties of all bar staff. Work alongside the Bar Manager in daily operations.
• Assist in training all employees, ensuring they have the skills to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with current legislation regarding hygiene, licensing laws, weights, and measures applicable to the restaurant.
• Monitor standards and supply of all restaurant equipment, alerting management to needs.
• Conduct and contribute to regular departmental meetings.
• Follow cleaning checklists and opening/closing procedures, ensuring staff are aware and tasks are completed.
• Carry out closing duties when the manager is absent from the floor.

• Minimum 1 year+ experience in this position
