SUSHISAMBA seeks an Assistant Bar Manager to support the Bar Manager in supervising beverage operations and leading a dynamic team in a fast-paced venue. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences and maintain high standards across service.

Candidates should have at least 4 years of beverage experience, 2 years in a supervisory role, and hold a Personal Licence. Strong communication and a proactive, team‑focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of beverage experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Personal Licence holder required.
• Experience in a fast-paced venue helps.
• Ability to lead bartenders and cocktail waitstaff.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Your Requirements:

As a Assistant Bar Manager we would love you to have:

• At least 4 years of Beverage experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
• Personal License holder
• Experience working in a similar fast-paced environment
• Ability to lead a team of bartenders and cocktail waiters / waitresses
• Customer focused - demonstrating exceptional guest service
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Havea willingness to learn and grow within the business
• Ability to maintain and set processes and standards
• Certifications as required to comply with government regulations and health codes, such as Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness, Alcohol Certification
