Job summary

Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Asset Manager to support the management of highway infrastructure assets, including highways, drainage, street lighting and associated systems.

The role involves maintaining asset management and IT systems, producing performance and asset reports, and supporting budget monitoring while supervising the Highway Services Administration Team.

Qualifications

• Requires a Level 3 qualification.
• General computer literacy with knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and to follow set procedures and instructions.
• Full UK (Category B) driving licence to drive Council vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of highway infrastructure assets and related systems.
• Produce performance and asset reports and handle information requests.
• Assist with budget monitoring and supervise the Highway Services Administration Team.
