Job summary

Quackers Out of School Clubs in High Wycombe is seeking an experienced Breakfast and After School Clubs Assistant Area Manager. You will support seven to eight sites, cover breakfast and after‑school sessions, and help implement improvement plans to ensure safe, engaging childcare across all clubs.

The role requires an EYFS background or Level 3 Childcare qualification, strong communication, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• EYFS knowledge applied to younger children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence in supporting colleagues and guiding club teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Area Manager in ensuring best practice across all clubs.
• Work with club leaders to provide guidance and model good practice.
• Implement action plans, monitor progress and report back to the Area Manager.
• Provide on-site support and help teams organise resources for sessions.
• Promote safeguarding and inclusive environment across sites.
• Build relationships with children, parents, staff and schools.
• Cover for sickness and absences and run daily club sessions when needed.
