We are looking to expand our team of Animal Technicians at our world-class facility in Tranent on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
We are a progressive and close-knit team, working hard to ensure the safety of new medicines targeting life-threatening and debilitating diseases. We are especially proud of our contribution to developing Covid-19 vaccines. We are passionate about our animals, striving to provide the best possible care with a culture of continuous improvement.
Candidates must have a passion for working with animals and share our commitment to their welfare. In this role, you will perform routine and moderately complex animal husbandry and clinical observations in a regulatory-compliant laboratory setting. You should have a minimum of 4 Nat 5 or equivalent qualifications.
In return, we provide all the necessary training and support. A positive attitude and a good work ethic are essential, as we need reliable individuals with a good attendance record.
