Taylor Veterinary Practice, Cathkin, Cathkin, Scotland

Full-time Veterinary Receptionist required!

An opportunity has become available to join our wonderful reception team at Taylor Vets. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you must be efficient, able to multitask, and work as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.

An example of duties would include answering phones, taking payments both over the phone and in practice, allocating client accounts, cashing up daily takings, transferring patient histories, cleaning of surgery/consult rooms, making up prescriptions, booking appointments, and educating all clients about practice services (e.g., actively promoting Pet Health Club and pet insurance). Most importantly, you should have the ability to provide excellent customer service. Admin-based skills would be advantageous due to the nature of the business, but not essential as full training will be provided.

You will be required to work at our other practices in Cathkin, East Kilbride, Clarkston, and Shedden.

About the rota and salary

This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. There will also be Saturday shifts on a rota basis.
