Assistant Administrator - Access to Health Records

Exciting opportunities have arisen within the Access to Health Records team. These 2 roles will be based at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Folkestone.

Our team is focused on service delivery and patient care. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated with a genuine desire to provide gold standard care at every level.

The successful applicant will join a highly motivated and effective team dedicated to prioritizing patient care.

The Access to Health Records team operates from 08:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

This post may support one or more teams (medical or non-medical).

To be aware of the confidential nature of work and maintain strict confidence when dealing with patients, staff, and other health service business.

To carry out all Access to Records duties in compliance with departmental targets, the Health Records Operational Policy, the Data Protection Act, and the Access to Health Records Act 1990.

To handle internal and external telephone inquiries.

The role will include keyboard skills, data inputting, moderate use of display screen equipment, and manual handling of healthcare records.
