About the opportunityA leading real estate investment firm with over £1 billion in transaction volume seeks a part-time Finance Assistant for a 3-month fixed-term contract to join their London headquarters. This established business specialises in Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and Build to Rent (BTR) assets across the UK and Europe, with a growing portfolio spanning five countries.

Key responsibilities- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping on Xero including bank reconciliations
- Review and sign-off monthly supplier payment runs
- Support Finance colleagues in preparing management accounts
- Assist with VAT return preparation
- Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects across the team
Requirements- AAT qualification or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- High personal and professional standards with strong work ethic
- Xero experience is a non-negotiable
