Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Accounts Manager/Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis in Hendon for 3 days a week (Part-Time). This role is pivotal in supporting our accounting operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Provide comprehensive accounting services to owner-managed businesses, including daily bookkeeping, annual accounts preparation, and tax return submissions.
  • Cloud Collaboration: Utilise cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero) to collaborate virtually with clients, ensuring efficient and timely financial reporting.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee and manage the payroll software system, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries and related statutory obligations.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring adherence to current tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Compile and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the senior management team, particularly supporting the director by taking over hands-on tasks, allowing them to focus on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within Accountancy practice.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will be experienced in the duties listed above and be looking for a part-time position, and able to commute to Hendon to the client offices for this part-time position 3 days a week.
