Job summary

Outform is seeking a Finance professional to support the Finance team with month-end accounting, project profitability reporting, VAT compliance, and reconciliations across the UK and European entities. Based in Fleet with hybrid working, you will report to the Financial Controller and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with month-end close processes.
• VAT compliance knowledge and practice.
• Intercompany reconciliations experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close by completing tasks accurately and on time.
• Prepare and post accruals, prepayments and other month-end journals.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare P&L reconciliations and identify missing invoices and accruals.
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions across UK and Europe.
• Prepare project profitability reports and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly report of non-recoverable costs.
• Prepare VAT returns and reconcile VAT accounts.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and validate source data.
• Assist with year-end audits and respond to information requests.
• Collaborate with AP/AR and other departments to resolve queries.
• Support ad-hoc accounting and process improvements.
