Job summary

Office Angels in the UK is seeking a detail-oriented Tax & Finance Projects Accountant to support VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE/NIC compliance and financial reporting. The role offers exposure to a broad range of tax disciplines within a dynamic commercial environment.

Based in Epsom with hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 at home after induction), you will work on half-year and year-end tax reporting, capital allowances, transfer pricing, and assist Senior Accounting Officer processes while

Qualifications

• Proven VAT knowledge and VAT return handling.
• Solid understanding of Corporation Tax and tax accounting principles.
• Experience in tax compliance, advisory, practice, commercial finance or HMRC environments.

Responsibilities

• Support UK tax matters including VAT, CT and PAYE/NIC compliance.
• Prepare current and deferred tax calculations for financial reporting.
• Assist with half-year and year-end corporation tax reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit Corporation Tax returns and supporting calculations.
• Manage group relief processes, claims and related payments.
• Produce quarterly VAT returns and ensure VAT compliance.
• Support PAYE Settlement Agreement and incentive scheme reporting.
• Prepare tax reconciliations and balance sheet schedules.
• Assist with capital allowances and transfer pricing activities.
• Support Senior Accounting Officer compliance processes.
• Liaise with external advisors on tax matters.
• Contribute to financial accounting activities and project work.
• Maintain and improve departmental procedures and controls.
