Job summary

Confidential, a FTSE 100, market leading company, is recruiting an Accountant to join their Finance team on a hybrid basis in the United Kingdom.

You will support General Accounting tasks across operating companies, handling multi-currency and multi-entity activity, month-end close and VAT, while assisting ERP system transitions to the Shared Service Centre.

A FTSE 100, market leading company, are recruiting a fantastic opportunity to join their team as Accountant. The role offers a hybrid working structure. The role is suitable for someone who has experience with multi currency, multi entity, month end and VAT.

Responsibilities

• Support General Accounting tasks and activities to operating companies in own scope, as instructed by the FSSC Senior Accountant, such as period end close activities, reconciliations, analysis, posting adjustment entries, supporting activities for audit queries, KPI reporting etc.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks and activities delivered.
• Provide support to other General Accounting team members as required.
• Support the transition of ERP systems, Finance/Accounting systems, management accounting processes and procedures to the Shared Service Centre.
• Ensure ongoing compliance to internal processes.
• Observe and actively promote the Health, Safety and Environment ethos and help building a fun and supportive environment in the Finance Shared Service Centre.
