Job summary

Marc Daniels is seeking a capable Accountant to join the Finance Shared Service Centre. The role requires handling general accounting tasks across operating companies, with responsibilities spanning month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting within a hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities

• Support General Accounting tasks for operating companies as directed by the FSSC Senior Accountant, including period end close, reconciliations, analysis, and postings.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks and activities delivered.
• Provide support to other General Accounting team members as required.
• Assist with transitioning ERP and Finance systems to the Shared Service Centre.
• Promote Health, Safety and Environment ethos and contribute to a positive finance environment.

A FTSE 100, market leading company, are recruiting a fantastic opportunity to join their team as Accountant. The role offers a hybrid working structure. The role is suitable for someone who has experience with multi currency, multi entity, month end and VAT.

Responsibilities:

• Support General Accounting tasks and activities to operating companies in own scope, as instructed by the FSSC Senior Accountant, such as period end close activities, reconciliations, analysis, posting adjustment entries, supporting activities for audit queries, KPI reporting etc.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks and activities delivered.
• Provide support to other General Accounting team members as required.
• Support the transition of ERP systems, Finance/Accounting systems, management accounting processes and procedures to the Shared Service Centre.
• Ensure ongoing compliance to internal processes.
• Observe and actively promote the Health, Safety and Environment ethos and help building a fun and supportive environment in the Finance Shared Service Centre.
