Job summary

Fin Search Ltd in Bradford is recruiting an Assistant Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support month-end processes and business partnering.

The role offers a hybrid working model (2 days in office, 3 at home) and a clear progression path for someone pursuing AAT/CIMA/ACCA studies, with study support and study leave.

Key duties include balance sheet reconciliations, forecasting, month-end journals (accruals and prepayments), and variance/profitability analysis.

Qualifications

• Have worked in a relevant assistant accountant or finance analyst role previously.
• Have strong Excel skills.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident talking to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month end processes and controls with a focus on business partnering to key stakeholders.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and forecasting support.
• Prepare month end journals (accruals, prepayments) and assist with variance and profitability analysis.
