Job summary

Confidential in Fakenham is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to support day-to-day finance operations and keep accounts accurate and up to date.

The ideal candidate will have an AAT Level 3 qualification or relevant experience, be hardworking, reliable and organised, and proficient in Excel and finance systems. This is a full-time role offering development and progression within the finance function.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience within an accounts or finance environment is essential.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage own workload.
• Proficient in Excel and finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Finance Manager with the day-to-day running of the finance function.
• Supporting with month-end processes and management accounts.
• Posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Processing invoices and payments.
