Job summary

Confidential in Huntingdon is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to support the monthly reporting cycle and drive efficiency. You will work with the Financial Controller, gain exposure to management accounting, financial reporting, business partnering, analysis and process improvements.

The role suits a part-qualified accountant with at least 2 years in finance, pursuing ACCA/CIMA/ACA/AAT, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

2+ years in a finance role
Experience producing management accounts
Actively pursuing ACCA/CIMA/ACA or AAT
Strong Excel and MS Office skills
Experience with ERP/accounting systems
Excellent attention to detail and organization

Responsibilities

Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
Prepare and post journals, accruals and prepayments
Complete balance sheet reconciliations
Handle payroll and intercompany reconciliations
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Provide insightful financial analysis and variance commentary
Assist with annual audit preparation
Partner with internal stakeholders across the business
Contribute to finance transformation and cost-saving initiatives
