Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing accounts for owner-managed businesses.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and taxation.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Friendly, positive and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies.
• Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships.
• Prepare personal tax returns.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Perform bookkeeping and management accounts.
• Assist with general client queries and ad hoc advisory work.
• As you gain experience, take on more responsibility and client interaction.
