Job summary

TPF Recruitment is supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood, seeking a Part Time Senior Practice Accountant to join their experienced team in a general practice capacity, primarily focused on statutory accounts and corporate tax returns, with some opportunity to support self assessment tax work and management accounts.

The role is offered on a part-time basis, around 3-4 days per week, with the client willing to shape the position to the successful candidate's

Qualifications

• Part Time Senior Practice Accountant in Paddock Wood.
• You will be qualified, or studying ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience with at least 3-5 years’ experience within practice.
• You will have worked as a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, ideally management accounts, tax and VAT.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns.
• Manage client portfolio and client relations.
• Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers.
• Onboard new clients and assist the partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required.
