Job summary

Bath College is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team. The role focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting, analysis and compliance, supporting budget holders and senior leaders with insights, and maintaining strong financial controls. The position is a permanent contract at 37 hours per week.

Interview date is 19 October at the City Centre Campus in Bath. The department is FIN - Finance Team, located at a dual campus.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent).
• Significant experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of financial controls, governance and audit requirements.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and solve problems.
