Job summary

The University of Bath's Students' Union is seeking an experienced accountant and Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day financial operations and budget holder support. You will be responsible for financial governance, policy adherence and delivering timely management information.

You will drive financial improvements, lead on Iplicit finance system changes and coach staff and students in financial literacy, with flexible work possibilities including 0.8FTE.

Qualifications

• Part qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA) or Level 4 AAT with experience.
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
• Ability to lead teams and deliver objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations of The SU.
• Act as first point of contact for budget holders and promote financial literacy.
• Lead on the Iplicit finance system changes and ensure reliable management information.
• Support staff and students with financial advice and services.
