Job summary

Our Norwich-based client seeks an experienced Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis, Mon-Thu 8.30am-5.30pm and Fri 8.30am-4.30pm. You will manage balance sheet reconciliations, monitor debt, support monthly management accounts, and provide analytical financial information. AAT Level 3 or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and debt monitoring.
• Strong numeric and analytical skills.
• AAT Level 3 or equivalent (QBE considered).
• Experience in processing bonuses, authorisations and payments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations and monitor debt.
• Prepare and report on aged debt and assist monthly management accounts.
• Assist with analytics and financial information for management.
• Process bonuses and authorise daily payments; perform variance analysis.
• Handle accruals and prepayments.
