Accounts Technician - Newry

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with well established organisation based in Newry to recruit for an Accounts Technician on a full time, permanent basis.

The Company:

This company is one of the leading suppliers in their industry servicing across both the UK & Ireland. They have a large finance team based in Newry & are looking for an additional accounts technician to join their team.

Job Duties of the Accounts Technician:

• Assistance with preparation of monthly management accounts
• General ledger including reconciliation of ledger accounts
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Preparation of VAT returns and related reporting
• Support the company's annual financial budget process
• Reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet accounts
• Assist with other financial duties

What you need to be the successful Accounts Technician?

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a finance department
• Experience of assisting with the production of management accounts
• Experience of general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation
• Strong attention to detail
