Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with a well established practice in Lisburn to recruit a Bookkeeper/Accounts Technician on a full-time, permanent basis. The role includes VAT returns, day-to-day bookkeeping, and opportunities to speak with clients while learning the firm’s systems and applicable legislation.

You should have practice experience, be comfortable liaising with clients, and hold ATI Qualified or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Practice experience in bookkeeping or accounts roles.
• Ability to liaise with clients effectively.
• ATI qualification or equivalent recognised credential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare VAT returns and manage bookkeeping duties.
• Engage with clients to provide updates and gather information.
• Learn and apply legislation and accounting systems used by the firm.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as required.
• Support overall accounting team in daily activities.
