Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Assistant Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for performing necessary general ledger close procedures, ensuring financial statements are accurate for the reporting period. You will have the chance to support automation, efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness whilst maintaining strong internal controls. This position is based in Manchester and offers a hybrid working model.
Key Opportunities:
As an Assistant Financial Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy of financial statements for each reporting period. You will be involved in various aspects of accounting, from preparing and posting journals to assisting with lease accounting. Your role will also involve supporting audit activities and working collaboratively with other teams within the finance operations department.
