Job description

We are working with a great charity looking to take on an experienced assistant accountant to support the finance manager.

Salary: £36K per annum

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accounts payable and receivable functions ensuring these are delivered accurately, on time and within budget.
• Bank Reconciliation - Accurately process all income and expenditure items on the bank statements.
• Maintenance of records and accurate reporting of data and information for finances including cash flow; management accounts, finance reports and event financial reconciliation.

Qualifications:

• Experience of working within a finance environment.
• Experience of working with committees and/or not for profit organisations would be useful but not essential.
• Hold and/or be working towards professional accountancy qualifications.
