Job summary

Finning International Inc. in Barnsley is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team. The role collaborates with Finance Managers to ensure accurate monthly transactions and liaises with operational teams to resolve queries.

You will support junior staff, prepare monthly reports and balance sheet reconciliations, and help maintain systems. The ideal candidate has ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or finalist status, at least 5 years in a finance department, strong IFRS knowledge, and

Qualifications

• AC A/ACCA or CIMA qualified or finalist.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance department.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial accounting principles.
• Experience with SAP, DBS and Microsoft systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with dealership operations is beneficial.
