Job summary

Sanctuary is seeking an Asset Surveyor based in Cherwell, Banbury, covering sites across Banbury and Birmingham. The role sits in Property Services, delivering surveys and capital investment services within regulatory requirements.

A salary of £46,097–£48,524 per year is offered, with a company car or car allowance and a 40 hour week. You will undertake stock condition surveys, contribute to disrepair cases and produce tender-ready reports, while supporting the cyclical programme and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Assessed candidates must be qualified to AssocRIC, MRICS CIOB, Degree, HND or HNC in Surveying.
• Experience in building and surveying environments is required.
• Ability to interpret computerised data and work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Undertake stock condition surveys and property inspections across a broad range of stock.
• Assist with disrepair cases, complaints, permission requests and repairs monitoring.
• Produce reports and documentation for work specifications and tenders.
• Support delivery of the cyclical programme including resident consultations and liaising with stakeholders.
• Contribute to special programmes and projects in line with organisational goals.

Cherwell, Banbury - covering sites accross Banbury and Birmingham

£46,097 - £48,524 per year plus Company car or car allowance

We are seeking an Asset Surveyor to join our team based in Cherwell, Banbury. The role falls within our Property Services department who are responsible for delivering high quality and cost-effective property repairs, compliance and installation and estate services across the UK. As an Asset Surveyor you will be responsible for delivering quality surveying and capital investment services that respond to customer, organisational and financial needs within regulatory requirements.

The role of Asset Surveyor will include:

• Undertaking stock condition surveys and other property inspections across a broad range of stock including health and safety assessments
• Involvement in disrepair cases, complaints, permission requests, repairs monitoring and other property related queries
• Producing reports and documentation for work specifications and tenders
• Supporting delivery of the cyclical programme, including surveys, specifications, resident consultations and liaising with other stakeholders.
• Contributing, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives

Skills and experiences:

• To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to AssocRIC,MRICS CIOB, Degree, HND or HNC in Surveying or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
• Some experience in a building and surveying environment
• Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
• Working knowledge of legislation and current practices
• Ability to interpret computerised data
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
