Job summary

Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited is seeking an Asset Surveyor to join our Property Services team in Cherwell, Banbury, covering sites across Banbury and Birmingham. You will deliver stock condition surveys, report findings and support capital investment programmes to meet regulatory requirements.

The role requires professional surveying qualifications (AssocRIC/MRICS/CIOB or equivalent degree) and a full UK driving licence; a company car or car allowance is provided, with a competitive

• Full UK driving licence required for company vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Undertake stock condition surveys and property inspections across a broad stock range.
• Involvement in disrepair cases, complaints and repairs monitoring.
• Produce reports and documentation for work specifications and tenders.
• Support delivery of cyclical programmes, including surveys, resident consultations and stakeholder liaison.
• Contribute to special programmes and projects aligned with Group values.

Asset Surveyor

Cherwell, Banbury - covering sites accross Banbury and Birmingham

£46,097 - £48,524 per year plus Company car or car allowance

40 hours per week

We are seeking an Asset Surveyor to join our team based in Cherwell, Banbury. The role falls within our Property Services department who are responsible for delivering high quality and cost-effective property repairs, compliance and installation and estate services across the UK. As an Asset Surveyor you will be responsible for delivering quality surveying and capital investment services that respond to customer, organisational and financial needs within regulatory requirements.

The role of Asset Surveyor will include:

• Undertaking stock condition surveys and other property inspections across a broad range of stock including health and safety assessments
• Involvement in disrepair cases, complaints, permission requests, repairs monitoring and other property related queries
• Producing reports and documentation for work specifications and tenders
• Supporting delivery of the cyclical programme, including surveys, specifications, resident consultations and liaising with other stakeholders.
• Contributing, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives

Skills and experiences:

• To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to AssocRIC,MRICS CIOB, Degree, HND or HNC in Surveying or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
• Some experience in a building and surveying environment
• Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
• Working knowledge of legislation and current practices
• Good communication skills
• Ability to interpret computerised data
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

Role salary is £40,064 with an additional policy allowance of £6,033 per annum (rising to £42,172 with an additional policy allowance of £6,351 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
