Job description

West Lancs Borough Council is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to lead a team responsible for all pre-contract activities, including data collection and analysis, planning, preparation, and the contract letting process for investment-related projects.

The successful candidate will be part of a small team and will support the Asset Strategy & Investment Manager in developing long-term asset management strategies, ensuring compliance with Decent Homes and Net Zero Carbon Targets.

The post holder will also contribute to fostering a positive organizational culture that is outward-looking, evidence-based, and customer-focused. Adherence to the Council’s Expected Behavioural Standards is essential to maintain high standards of customer care in a courteous manner.
