Job summary

GWHA is seeking a Head of Asset Management and Compliance to lead the Technical Team, drive asset management strategies, and ensure high standards of regulatory compliance for multi-tenure properties. The role emphasizes strong leadership, stakeholder management and a proactive approach to risk and safety.

The successful candidate will oversee procurement, contract governance, and performance reporting, while promoting continuous improvement across property services and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Background in property, technical services and/or asset management.
• Strong technical knowledge with leadership and collaboration.
• Experience driving multi-tenure works programmes and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Team across common, cyclic and component replacement projects.
• Develop and implement Asset Management strategies, KPI's, policies and procedures.
• Prepare procurement business cases and tender/es evaluations to meet governance objectives.
• Coordinate cross-service consultants and contract documentation; support performance management.
• Lead risk assessment, performance reporting and governance reporting (MC).
• Oversee Health & Safety and Compliance including routine PPM and various inspections.
• Act as Responsible Person for Asbestos and Legionella management; align services with systems.
