Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in London is seeking an Associate for the Asset Management Team on-site to support a director across industrial, office, retail and living assets in the UK.

You will develop business plans, execute asset strategies, and manage acquisitions/disposals while coordinating with external managers and agents to optimize portfolio performance. Strong numeracy and Excel skills are essential for the role.

Qualifications

• BA or BSc degree with strong academic achievement.
• Understanding of property fundamentals (management, leasing and development) for office/industrial assets.
• At least two years of post-qualification experience in office, retail and industrial sectors with a good network.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and collaborative working style.
• Knowledge of sustainability impacts on the property industry.
• Strong numeracy, financial and computer skills including MS Excel and ability to understand KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset management strategies and business plans for a UK multi-sector portfolio.
• Formulate asset strategies and manage cashflow/value enhancement while maintaining occupier relationships.
• Oversee acquisitions/disposals, including marketing strategy and coordination with solicitors and investment committees.
• Coordinate with external property managers and agents; monitor performance and drive portfolio results.
• Draft monthly and quarterly client reports and manage valuation inputs for clients.
• Support MSCI processes for fund performance and ensure sustainability guidelines are met.
• Request data for business plans and leverage technology to drive asset efficiency.
