The Role

We are seeking a high-caliber Asset Management Analyst with versatility and a desire to engage with various aspects of a disruptive real estate platform. The role is based in London.

The primary goal is to oversee the asset management of individual assets and analyze asset management initiatives and portfolios.

Responsibilities

Asset Management

• Managing lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, lease expiries, surrenders, forfeitures, and lease regears.
• Preparing and submitting approvals, liaising with clients and fund administrators.
• Developing and executing value-add asset management strategies.
• Identifying and implementing strategies to reduce void costs and shortfalls.
• Managing third-party service providers such as letting agents, solicitors, property managers, and surveyors.
• Overseeing refurbishment programs and asset repositioning.
• Inspecting assets and addressing issues related to repairs, occupation, and common parts.
• Ensuring tenancy data accuracy.
• Reviewing and approving service charge budgets.
• Overseeing health and safety compliance.
• Attending stakeholder meetings.
• Preparing quarterly and annual reports.

Investment Analysis

• Reviewing and updating financial models for asset management initiatives and leasing opportunities.
• Assessing the financial viability of capex projects and asset management initiatives with Asset Managers and Finance teams.
• Supporting annual budgeting processes in collaboration with Investment Management and Finance.
• Assisting in sourcing, modeling, inspecting, and conducting due diligence for acquisitions.

Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Knowledge of Landlord & Tenant legislation.
• Experience delivering value-add strategies across real estate asset classes.
• Experience producing reports for senior colleagues and clients.
• Strong articulation and numeracy skills, with excellent analytical capabilities.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; intermediate skills in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property databases.
