An exceptional opportunity exists to join our vibrant and innovative UK Equity Asset Management team as a Senior Associate, where you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of buildings primarily in the Office, Logistics, and Industrial sectors. You will assist with creating and executing strategic business plans, collaborating with teams to deliver developments, leasing, value creation, ESG initiatives, and performance monitoring.

You should have a solid understanding of financial modelling and asset management, some leasing and marketing experience, and be committed to ESG principles. Development/refurbishment experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct financial modelling and analysis to support asset management initiatives.
  • Monitor asset performance, analyze budgets vs. actuals, and identify improvements.
  • Assist with underwriting acquisitions, due diligence, financing, and disposals.
  • Manage onboarding of new assets post-acquisition.
  • Support fund reporting for the Portfolio Management team.
  • Create business plans to enhance asset value and performance.
  • Execute business plans across various sectors, including some exposure to Residential/Living.
  • Collaborate with development partners on new developments and refurbishments.
  • Ensure statutory compliance and effective asset management.
  • Develop leasing and marketing strategies with external advisors.
  • Manage downstream services like property managers and insurance brokers.
  • Work with the ESG team to implement sustainability strategies.
  • Assist with presentations to Investment Committees and investors.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with lenders and ensure covenant compliance.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience:
  • Financial modelling and asset management expertise.
  • Leasing and marketing knowledge.
  • Development/refurbishment experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of ESG practices.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in consultancy, investment management, or property companies.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related fields.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience.
