Job description

This is an exciting time to join Clyde Valley Group. As we continue to invest in our homes, strengthen our Asset and Compliance service and develop our long-term asset management strategy, we've created a number of new roles within the directorate, including this newly established Asset Intelligence Data Analyst position.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape how data and insight drive decision-making across our business. You'll play a key role in ensuring we have the information, intelligence and evidence needed to invest in our homes, improve services, support regulatory compliance and deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers.

If you're passionate about data, enjoy problem-solving and want to see the real-world impact of your work, this could be the perfect role for you.

Reporting to the Senior Asset and Compliance Lead, you will:
  • Develop, maintain and analyse asset, compliance, stock condition and performance data.
  • Produce meaningful reports, dashboards and insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Help identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve asset performance, compliance and customer outcomes.
  • Support investment planning, component forecasting and long-term asset management strategies.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across asset management systems.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to improve the quality, accessibility and use of asset intelligence, embedding an evidence-led approach to compliance assurance, investment planning, performance reporting, service delivery and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a curious, analytical and forward-thinking individual who can turn data into meaningful insight.

You’ll have:

  • Experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting data.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience of Excel, Power BI or other reporting and dashboard tools.
  • The ability to communicate complex information in a clear and understandable way.
  • Experience of working with property, housing, compliance, asset management or performance information.
  • Confidence working with different data sources and systems, with the ability to spot gaps, improve data quality and translate information into practical insight.
  • A genuine interest in using data and insight to improve homes, support communities and deliver better outcomes for customers.
  • A relevant qualification or equivalent practical experience in data analysis, housing, asset management, business intelligence or a related discipline.
Why Join Us?

This is more than a traditional analyst role.

As a newly created post, you’ll have the opportunity to influence how asset intelligence develops within Clyde Valley Group, helping us build a modern, insight-led approach to managing nearly 5,000 homes and delivering excellent customer outcomes.

This role sits at the heart of our ambition to become a more intelligence-led, proactive and customer-focused organisation. You’ll help strengthen the way we use asset data, systems and insight to understand our homes, plan future investment, evidence compliance and support better decisions across the business. It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to combine analytical skills with real purpose — helping to shape services that directly improve homes, communities and customer experience.

You don’t need to have all the answers from day one. What matters most is that you’re curious, analytical and motivated to use data and insight to make a real difference. We’ll support you to develop your knowledge of our systems, services and asset management approach as the role grows.

You’ll join a supportive and ambitious directorate that is investing in new roles, new ways of working and new ideas. In return, you’ll enjoy flexible and agile working, generous annual leave, pension contributions, health and wellbeing initiatives, an on-site gym and excellent opportunities for learning and development.

If you’re excited by the opportunity to use data to shape decisions, improve services and make a lasting difference to customers and communities, we’d love to hear from you.
