Job summary

SSE is seeking a Technical Project Manager in the Electrical & SCADA Team to lead a portfolio of asset integrity projects across short, medium and long-term horizons. You will provide engineering oversight of scope, resources, budgets, reporting and quality assurance, while communicating technical details clearly to stakeholders.

Based in locations with 50% site work (Lowestoft, Perth, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Montrose or Inverness), you will define project scope, plans and budgets, drive safety and

Qualifications

• HND or equivalent in Electrical/Power/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in electrical and/or control systems engineering.
• Experience in a project engineering environment with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset integrity projects across full lifecycle, improving safety and efficiency.
• Define project scope, priorities, plans and budgets, manage performance and report progress.
• Coordinate responses to site failures with Electrical Integrity and SCADA Engineers to minimise downtime.
• Ensure projects meet electrical and SCADA safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operational teams, OEMs, contractors and internal stakeholders, sharing lessons learned.
