Job summary

Technical Partners International seeks an Asset Integrity and Reliability Engineer in Shotton to lead reliability improvements, lift availability and protect product quality for blue-chip customers. The role focuses on MTBF, reduced downtime and data-driven maintenance strategy at a major coated-steel site.

You will implement condition monitoring, updateAsset Risk Registers and coordinate outages, while driving spare part optimization and CAPEX input.

Qualifications

• HNC in a relevant engineering discipline with practical experience in a high-volume or process environment.
• Proven use of reliability tools and engineering methods: FMEA, RCA, RCM, CMMS scheduling and condition monitoring.
• Confident planner and communicator who translates data into safe, executable work and updates stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build risk-based preventive maintenance plans to cut downtime and improve OEE.
• Survey assets for condition, obsolescence and criticality and create Asset Risk Registers with improvements.
• Plan line outages with Operations to ensure safe, on-time, within budget.
• Develop condition monitoring on critical plant – vibration, thermography, lubrication analysis.
• Strengthen spare parts strategy and optimise stock data and critical spares.
• Support CAPEX and operational improvements with clear business cases.
• Coach operators in basic care and autonomous maintenance for ownership.
