Job summary

Pennon Group’s Bristol Water unit is seeking an experienced Asset Information Manager to lead the Asset Information Teams, ensuring data accuracy and governance to support critical business decisions. Based across our Bristol and SES operations, you will drive asset information excellence.

You'll champion data quality, manage relationships with software providers, and collaborate with operations, engineering and IT to improve information flows and enable trusted reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and managing competing priorities.
• Background in asset information, data management, governance or data quality management.
• Knowledge of data processes, standards, governance frameworks and performance measures.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and supporting evidence-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing Asset Information teams to deliver accurate and timely asset registration across GIS, SAP and Agility systems.
• Driving improvements in data quality, governance, compliance and asset information standards.
• Identifying data quality issues and coordinating corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting the development and delivery of the Asset Information Strategy.
• Managing relationships with software and data providers.
• Overseeing the transfer of asset information from capital projects into operational systems.
• Collaborating with operational, engineering, project delivery and IT teams to improve information flows and business processes.
• Providing reliable asset information and analysis to support strategic decision making.
