Job summary

Bristol Water, part of the Pennon Group, seeks an experienced Asset Information Manager to lead the Asset Information teams across Bristol and SES operations. You will champion data quality, governance, and high standards to support investment and operational decisions.

Role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and experience with asset information systems and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geography, GIS, Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or asset management, or equivalent experience.
• Professional qualifications (IAM, CMI, APM or data/GIS bodies) would be beneficial.
• Experience in asset information, data governance or data quality management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Asset Information teams and set priorities to maintain accurate asset records.
• Champion data quality, governance and standards across GIS, SAP and other systems.
• Identify data quality issues and drive corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Support the Asset Information Strategy and manage relationships with software/data providers.
• Ensure transfer of asset information from projects to operations and enable data-driven decisions.
