hybrid working with office location at Pity Me, Durham
As part of Northumbrian Water’s ambition to become a national leader in the UK Water Industry, we continue to push the boundaries of service reliability, resilience, and customer experience. This ambition not only requires achieving our goals today but also developing innovative and sustainable solutions that will continue to benefit our customers and the environment in the future.
We are delivering our largest ever Capital Investment programme, and are seeking a highly capable Digitalisation Lead to enable us to co-ordinate closely between our Information Services (IS) and Asset Directorates, delivering data, system & integrated digitalisation improvements across Asset Investment management, Asset management and Design & Construction management.
Reporting directly into the Head of Asset Intelligence, you will build trusted relationships, working across all Assets teams, forming a ‘dotted line’ Assets Digital Group, working strongly with all IS Product Managers, IS Architecture and IS Data to create an Assets Digital Improvement Plan, then deliver at pace.
You will lead work to maximise the potential from AI, Machine Learning, 3D capability, integrated digital tools and visualisations in a way that is transformative to our capability. You will horizon scan for new technology and drive technological improvement, on a priority basis, that makes us safer, faster, more effective and enables us to meet our Assets outcome requirements.
If you have experience and demonstrated capability in delivering Digital and Data improvement projects in complex and data centric environments, we would love to hear from you!
You can lead and co-ordinate the delivery of digital solutions including preparedness to work in substantial detail, fill gaps, drive pace, plan effectively, overcome problems and enable delivery. You can work from Strategic level, down to tactical level, and you have an understanding of capability (process, system, data, people), and can deliver real improvements at pace.
You will have excellent stakeholder relationship management skills, with the ability to form, sustain and improve stakeholder relationships across complex Teams and organisational directorates.
You are committed to personal growth and the Continuous learning and Development of the teams around you, always seeking ways to enhance both individual and team capabilities. You are eager to challenge existing processes and systems, always seeking more efficient and sustainable approaches to drive progress and innovation.
Please note this role will require a DBS to be completed prior to employment.
