Vargo Group is seeking a Business Development Manager (Asset Finance) to drive asset finance initiatives across the South Wales region. You will generate leads via introducers, structure facility terms, and present proposals to underwriters, ensuring smooth onboarding with operations.

The role requires several years in asset finance, strong broker relationships, and a target-driven, highly organized approach to manage high activity levels.

Qualifications

• Several years’ experience within the asset finance sector.
• Established broker relationships and a strong understanding of industrial equipment and vehicles.
• Target-driven with strong planning skills and the ability to manage high activity levels and engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads through your introducer network.
• Structure and agree on initial facility terms.
• Submit facility proposals to underwriters.
• Attend client meetings for document signing.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Present a professional first-line impression to external stakeholders.
• Operate effectively from day one with minimal supervision.
