Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a civil earthworks examinations engineer to deliver surveys on rail sites across the South East of England. The role requires a strong engineering background and rail surveying experience, with Level 3 competency in soil and rock slope examinations (NR_LO3) and related qualifications.

You will oversee asset documents, assist with engineering design and plans, and attend engineering reviews for allocated works.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements: Engineering background, Rail experience on surveying works, Level 3 Competency in Network Rail’s ‘Soil Slope Examinations’ (GEO-I-S) and Rock ‘Slope Examinations’ (GEO-I-R).
• Certifications: PTS, COSS or IWA are desirable.

I am looking for a civil earthworks examinations engineer with a good engineering background, to deliver surveys on rail sites across the South East of England.

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within a rail engineering environment. This role would suit a rail geotechnical surveyor.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Completion of Examinations in line with NR_L3_CIV_065
• Work to oversee asset documents.
• Assist with engineering design and plans as required
• Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated works.
