Job summary

Fold Hill Pet is seeking an Asset Care Technician for the Old Leake site in the UK. The role focuses on Asset Care Excellence (ACE), preventative maintenance and corrective tasks to keep production equipment reliable.

You will work with Asset Care Operators and the shift Engineering team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting and a proactive approach to equipment care.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or engineering maintenance in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in engineering, mechanical or maintenance discipline.
• Strong ability to identify deterioration and defects with methodical fault-finding and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ACE activities, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
• Support Asset Care Operators and shift Engineering team with condition checks and clean asset care.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and handovers of work performed, defects and parts.
• Escalate defects and work with Engineering Team Leader to plan corrective actions.
• Contribute to reliability improvements and root cause analysis.
